There are terms and conditions that apply to transactions at the website – as with any shopping experience. The main thing to remember is that by placing an order or making a purchase at the website you agree to the terms and conditions set forth below along with Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.


We understand that sometimes a product may not be what you expected it to be. In that unlikely event, we invite you to review the following terms related to returning a product. However, we charge you € 20.00 per wearable for linking to your bank account. Upon receipt of your return shipment you will receive the purchase price of the product minus the € 20,00 return.

For any undamaged product, simply return it with its included accessories and packaging along with the original receipt within 14 days of the date you receive the product, and we’ll exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method. In addition, please note the following:

Within 14 days of delivery you may be eligible for a partial or full refund, or a replacement:

o If you are unsatisfied in any way
o Have ordered the wrong size or color
o Changed your mind


Within 14 days from the date of purchase we will exchange your ring to another size free of charge. Simply send the ring with a copy of the delivery note to LAKS GmbH, Sebastianplatz 7/11, 1030 Vienna. As soon as the ring is in our house, you will receive a voucher for a new order.


If you wish to return a device or cancel your order prior to delivery, please let us know as soon as possible by completing our Returns Form. You can also email us at [email protected] or write us at: LAKS GmBH, Sebastianplatz 7/11, 1030 Wien.
Please provide us as much information about your order as possible in your communication to help us process your request as efficiently as possible.

o You must return your device to us within 14 days of letting us know you wish to return it, or we may not accept your returned item or provide an exchange or refund.

o Activated devices must be switched off before being sent back to us.

o Devices should ideally be returned along with their original packages; if you no longer have it, please use a similarly sized container for protection in transit.

o To be eligible for a full refund or replacement, returned devices must be in good condition (i.e. not physically broken, scratched or damaged).

o You assume the risk of loss or damage to the returned device while it is in the post back to us.

Returned devices may not be accepted by us:

o if you did not provide us sufficient information to identify the original order or customer
o if payment for additional postage is required.


There is no right of cancellation:
for contracts for the delivery of goods which are not prefabricated, and where an individual choice or determination from the buyer is decisive for their manufacture, or which are clearly adapted to the buyer’s personal requirements.

The right of cancellation does not exist for the order of LAKS Wearables:

o which were registered with the buyer’s own bank account and/or
o which were activated after receipt with the activation code

NOTE about LAKS wearables:

By default, you can use your wearable for contactless payments for 3 years from the time it is connected to the bank. However, this depends on your bank.

The payment service is provided by your bank.

When your payment card is linked, a reference to your card is stored. This reference is called a token and is stored by LAKS in the wearable.

Please note, however, that we have no influence on the function of the token and cannot accept any liability for it.

After the three years have expired, you can have your wearable personalised again, provided that the payment service is supported by your bank. To do this, you must return the wearable to us or order a replacement card – depending on which wearable you have. The cost for this is € 20.00 plus shipping costs.

LAKS accepts responsibility for defects in materials and workmanship of your wearable purchased from LAKS and we undertake to comply with all applicable statutory warranty provisions.
If the bank with which you have your account and to which you have connected your wearable discontinues the service for contactless payments with a wearable, LAKS is not responsible for this and accepts no liability for it. This is beyond the control of LAKS.


If you wish to return a LAKS Wearable, you may do so within 14 days of receipt. However, we will charge you a fee of €20.00 per Wearable, which we incurred to establish the link with your bank account. On receipt of your returns parcel, you will receive the purchase price of the item less the € 20.00 return charge.
For returns and exchanges note that:

o The items that you return must be in the same condition as the item was received.
o After receiving your parcel, we check the condition of the item and either exchange the item for another size or refund the returned item.
o Note that LAKS will not accept unpaid shipments or COD packages and will not bear the costs for shipping or returns.

If you are not in when the delivery agent arrives and you are left a missed delivery slip, but fail to collect the parcel within the specified collection period, the parcel will be returned to us. In such cases, we will treat the order as a return.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods back from you.


We strive for the fastest possible delivery of the items in the order in which the orders are received. It is our aim to deliver within 3 to 14 days after receipt of the order confirmation, unless otherwise agreed. Although we strive to deliver within the specified period, delivery may take longer due to unforeseeable events. In the unlikely event that the delivery time is longer than 30 days, you have the right to cancel your order. If you have placed your order and have given us your e-mail address, you will receive an e-mail as soon as the shipment leaves our company.
